 Annual Conference

Each year in early June, The DA holds its annual conference in a different venue in Devon, thereby enabling members to visit and enjoy a locality in our beautiful county.

The conference is The DA's major annual social event and includes both excursions to places of interest led by local experts, and a lively programme of presentations and talks. An evening reception, provided by our local hosts, precedes a keynote public lecture on a significant Devon topic. We hold The DA Annual General Meeting during the conference and this is customarily followed by the ceremonial investiture of the new honorary president and the presidential address. The DA annual dinner is a further highlight of the conference weekend.
